The 16th Nordic Meeting of Nordic Adoption Council in Iceland was a big succes.

The meeting gathered around 50 participants from Iceland and aorund 50 from the other Nordic countries. All five Central Authorities for adoption were represented and there were very interesting speakers from Iceland, Finland, Denmark, ISS/IRC in Geneva, childONEurope in Firenze and from the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Convention. The presentations and discussions touched on Post Adoption Services and Good Practice. The discussions on the latter ended out in the discussion of a possible NAC initiative named the Nordic Approach to be presented to organisations and Central Authorities.
